This project reimagines a rural building ensemble in Waltenhausen, Germany, blending tradition and innovation. A house, barn, and utility buildings were transformed into a retreat destination. The courtyard garden creates a "village within a village," with sustainable materials shaping garden sheds for craft workshops. Inside the barn, staggered levels house temporary living cubes for tourists. The design fosters rural tourism and community integration while preserving architectural heritage and embracing renewable resources.
